My Story
In 2008 I fell in LOVE with Scentsy and bought myself the starter kit just to get even more! I was working from home full time in a really great job with great pay & benefits. I had no desire to leave my job or to really start a business, I just absolutely loved the products. Friends and family had stopped by and loved it too! Which turned into someone saying I'll have a party for you. So we set up my first party, I was terrible! I had no clue what I was doing or how to even work a home party plan business BUT it didn't matter everyone still loved the product! It was a great party and a couple guests booked their own parties. I still really didn't think I was starting a business, little did I know what was beginning was going to change my life so much for the better in so many ways! As we all know the economy was beginning it's slump, companies were laying off and going on hiring freezes and times were getting tough for everyone. I was lucky enough to not lose my job but as they laid off and didn't replace people but kept taking on more work my job became unbearable. The stress of trying to do the work of 2 - 3 people, staying later and later and because I had an office in my home I would often sneak back up after dinner and work another hour or two before putting my kids to bed. I would wake up at 6 am and start again before getting the kids up to take to daycare. I was missing my family time with my children and I hated it! I decided to try to make this Scentsy thing work. I was able to quit my full time job in 2011 and now I make my schedule and I can be home when my kids are sick or when school is closed. I get to volunteer at school and take them to practices and games! All that and I make enough money to do all the fun things we want to do. Oh and did I mention the incentive trips... I have earned trips to Hawaii, Punta Cana, Bahamas, Disney, Alaskan cruise & New York City with all expenses paid for me and a guest and did it all top notch! I also work with our Scentsy referred agent to have excellent health insurance with great rates for me and my family! What other company gives you all this!!
